Wow...this is suprising. Isn't the VS pocket's latency really bad....when I
tried it a long time ago it was useless for really time playing.

We've got an EMI setup with one of our beta testers, who is using it OK I
think...not sure what the problem is.

Anyway...gald you're up and running once again.

ahhhh...computers....

Andy,

if you are anywhere near Brixton Hill, you are more than welcome to come over and we can test your config with my 2|6, and my config with your 2|6.

I have a feeling you might have a bad emi 2|6.

lemme know,

yep, surprised me too. i gave up on the vx as soon as the emi
came out. there's still latency of course, but it's way closer than it
was, i loaded some super tight drums into my exs and it's
hanging together ok feel-wise when im grooving away on the
keyboard. the sample buffer hasnt changed so i assume it's
what it says it is - 252 samples at the lowest setting. still, it sure
feels a lot tighter.

as for the emi - i spent hours going through the extensions
manager with a fine tooth comb, it's as minimal as i can get
purely to work with logic, and i'm only using emagic software, no
3rd party plugs in the vst folder (bar stylus of course) and no
unrelated software active. so........errrr.....umm......ahh.......dead
end here.

silver lining time though...i can tweak stylus :-)

thanks,

andy
