i was thinking a few more stronger words than weak! ya know, i
can live with the hassle of manually deleting audio files if i have
to, what really pi**es me off is the cheek of actually lying in the
manual about what can and cant be done! oh i know, its an
oversight....but by the time it hits my studio its a bald faced lie. a
bit like telling us theres a pdf on the v5 cd regarding the new exs
facilities...uhhh....no there isnt.
heres another thing which cost me several wasted hours. i spent
time setting up a bunch of new key commands only to power up
the next day to find none of them had been stored in the
preferences like they used to be. it seems we have to tell logic to
store them now. i didnt see any info about this in the new
addendum either, even though they have a section about
preferences! the info may be posted somewhere but i sure
havent seen it yet.

little things like this make me ever more curious about the
competition....
