Hello, had some thoughts...
I use an mpc 2000 and I also use the exs24 with Logic.
One thing I love about the mpc 2000 is the ability to take any sample you
have and spread it across all 16 pads in a number of fashions like, Decay,
Volume, Pitch, etc.
I really enjoy this feature and think it's brilliant.
So my question is this to any MPC 2000 and EXS users:
Can this same feature be done with the EXS without having to bulid a
whole new instrument? Like for example, if I am using a basic drum kit on
the EXS and I just want to have a snare spread across the keys in a "pitch"
fashion... what is the quickest way to do it? Do I have to take that snare
sample and build a whole new instrument with it?
I hope I am being clear on this as to what I want to do.
This probably makes the most sense if you are and MPC user and a EXS user.
Peace,
--ken.
