As subjective as >an be :-) but I still haven't heard softwarefilters that have more >personality than the EXS24 filter (and ES1 and ES2). And I've tried quite a >lot. VirSyn TERA is also very tastefull but that's not a sampler. For loops, Bitshift Phatmatic Pro, has a lovely sounding filter when using it in LPF mode. The Linplug Cronox filter has its moments of greatness but is quirky and unpredictable. However, it seems to sound better on the osc waveforms rather than the wav player section. Very nice for dance basslines in lpf mode. This could be due to the quality of the osc waveforms rather than the filter. I love its bandpass mode as well. Hector.
