Going from memory: 'format 0' can deal with just 1 midi channel and 'format
1' multiple channels.

Possibly, but I feel the problem is probably a bit more obscure than that.

It was Colin Shapiro using a mac.

Eric was unaware of a problem until I told him. He was able to drag + drop
Groove Control .mid files on his pc.  However I believe he was probably
using an earlier version than 5.13.  He was not able to come up with a
solution at the time the last thread finished.  I believe that only Emagic
can sort this out.
