For what help it may be (probably v little)
 
I moved from PC to MAC last Sept - having taught LOGIC for two weeks on MACS
I couldn't believe the processing power and increase in reliability - 
 
expensive? well - at that time it was £1250 for an i-book so comparative -
then I cross - graded software - of course the dongle and software are both
platform compatible now - but a much more reliable option in terms of no
crashes etc - and it read all my .lso off CD straight away   -had some audio
files to rename and that was it - 
 
most people I know on PC are investigating moving to MAC - the thought of
moving to another seq. at this stage not really being considered and
certainly not one with a rep for having dodgy timing
