Actually, all economical reasons aside, all the "I am pissed so much as I have to buy a slow and expensive Mac as long as I want to stay with Logic" aside too, I seriously DO think that Emagic will take the chance to make Logic a seriously butt-kicking sequencer (actually it allready is in many aspects). And I also think that's one of the reasons Apple bought them. Would just make no sense at all to kill Logic. To me it's relatively clear that Apple is trying hard to get back to the "we're the Pro platform" attitude - and even as a Windows user I'd bet they will succeed with that at least for a few more years (no matter how much I may hate that thought from my personal perspective). So just go ahead and order that EXS24 - right now there's no competition for Mac users. Regards, Sascha
