I too am a Mac user who would like to see Apple concentrate their efforts o= n one platform; the Mac. Lots of users who have been buying equipment for a = while can look around their studios and see a piece of gear or two that the= y spent $2000 or more on that is not worth much right now and barely used if = at all. If digidesign doesn't support mix systems on OSX or Apple decides to discontinue TDM support for future versions of Logic, then I'll just keep m= y system in it's final stable state and use it as is. I still like it. When= I have to move forward, I'll evaluate my best options at that time. I really don't think Apple understands windows users and if I was one I wouldn't want to invest any more money in a company that is always going to= treat me like a second class citizen. --- In exs-users@y..., john@d... wrote: > Hi JP, > > While I can clearly see your point about a strategy that has a focus on o= ne > specific platform, it is perhaps a little harsh to be critical of those P= C > users of Logic/EXS24 who have expressed their disappointment/anger etc at > seeing the move towards Logic becoming a 'Mac-only' application. > > Of course there are many application about that are platfrom specific (i.= e. > SONAR or Acid on the PC for example) that users of the other platform might > wish were available to them....
