My guess would be that since the selected track doesn't contain an EXS-instance nothing would play at all... Gotta try this, but I'm fairly sure it won't work. Otherwise it would be the solution, obviously. In my previous post I only suggested switching between velo-layers, because I would hate to have to load however many instances of the same instrument... Still, with... how many nowadays...? 24? 32?
