Thanks Jim, but I took care not to go more than 2 or 3 folders deep from the Sampler Instruments folder. You may also note that when I start Logic ( PC ), the instrument scanning during the start-up process takes quite a while... like 1 full minute. If I move the instruments away from that computer, logic starts very fast. Is there a problem with my config? Any other Ideas anyone? Someone I know told me that this issue had already been discussed on this group or the LUG. Are there classified archieves somewhere from which I could find an answer ? Apart from that, everything rocks! Cheers Phil -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= You have to place them in your Sampler Instruments folder. Or place a shortcut (alias on Mac) in your SI folder pointing at their location. Also, you can't bury them more than a few layers deep. I.e. you can't them in folders within folders within folders etc. etc. Regards Jim -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
