Hi Gary,

I have the Garritan full Giga version. The lite version is great, but only 
if you don't need soft and loud strings (it comes with only two velocity 
layers: medium soft and medium loud), many articulations (there must be 5 
or 6 different kinds of pizz!), and you don't have the budget. I tried the 
lite first, and after being thoroughly seduced by the quality (and getting 
a great paying gig!), I bought the full version. Oh, and you also get the 
best sample manual I have ever laid eyes on. And when I think of how much 
the Vitous strings cost... don't get me started!!! :-)
