Ned ********** dear Ned, cher Ned, the EXS is not able to play the Trap On/Off function available in the Gigasampler... This function brings a lot of realism in the string simulation ... a sound is played when the note is released... some Garritan prg seems to use it and are programmed in Gigasampler. I like this function, it is very powerfull for Orchestral simulation, like for a "Clave\ufffdin" ... every instrument got a special sounding when a note is stopped. again today, Gigasampler is more dedicated for Orchestral simulation ( CrossFade, Trap On etc...) Kontact or EXS are not as powerfull as Giga for the moment, I hope it will change soon ! Igor
