The only thing to do is to make sure you get the dongle with the package as well as the original CDs as you have to send them back to emagic for the v5 upgrade. If buying an unregistered copy, life is easy - just send in the registration. If buying a previously registered copy, get the seller to write a letter to the distributor with their customer number saying that they have sold it to you, and your distributor will inform emagic of the change of ownership.
