Instructions to Halion users are on the CD in a an MS word file -- that tells you what to name them as. Your edition of the CD and mine might be different so this may have changed. If it isn't there send me a private email and I will send the instructions. > > I emailed Hans, and am awaiting his response. > Are you happy with this piano sample set? I think the Chopin midi files (Nocturnes, Preludes etc) Hans Adamson offers a link to on his site sound good using this piano. It sounds like a piano playing in a room -- useful for film and TV. I find the lack of the usual dampers on /dampers off arrangement means this instrument is a little too resonant for a lot of things. I think if he was doing it again he would do the "four velocity levels with the pedal, four velocity levels without the pedal" thing. His Cool Vibes -- that I am very pleased with. The EXS gig file import utility might be doing a pretty good job of mapping the files. You could try opening one of the 2 exs instruments in the editor selecting all groups and zones (Control A on PC) and copying them and then open the other half of the piano's exs file in the editor and paste the copied zones and groups. Save the combined instrument as a nesw exs instrument. The result would probably be pretty close to importing the whole piano gig file (possibly identical) although you might end up with twice as many groups. I am not sure how or even if the exs gig import routine reads the articulation info in a gig file -- it may be there in both the sub parts I don't know. Worth a try if you want some belated instant gratification. Regards, Murray
