I didn't find any spikes in these either. A little lip-noise [like a 
soft click] maybe, and an annoying ring, somewhere near 10khz, which 
sounds like aliasing or something, which I'm not sure is natural [I 
haven't closely examined many flute recordings like this] It's 
definitely not there in any other flute samples I have.
