When you edit your samples in EXS you can assign them to either one of several different stereo channels or mono channels (I don't have my EXS Or manual with me at the moment so I forget exactly how many of each.) These separate channels are apart from the main Stereo 1/2 pair and are routed to the new Aux Audio Devices in Logic. It's mainly meant for separate processing of drum sounds, i.e., you can have a compressor on this sound in this Aux channel, you can have an overdrive on this other sound in this other Aux channel, etc. but there are many other uses/ideas you could probably come up with for separate processing. --- In exs-users@y..., Jason Greenberg <jason@j...> wrote: > I'm pretty new to the EXS, so can someone please let me know what the multi > channel EXS or multitimbral mode would be used for??? > > Is this for saving processing kind of like using a single reverb for several > tracks????
