Btw, for such purposes I allways have a sequence playing (usually using a piano sound), some |F/D|G/D| pattern for the white keys and the same a halftone up for the black keys. Works pretty well - especially when dealing with stringed instruments where intonation often isn't that clear (due to possible vibratos, slurs, slides, whatever) - in a more musical context you'll notice inconsistencies easier, even when dealing with vibrato and the likes. Not exactly the "piano tuner 101", but sufficient in most cases. Regards, Sascha
