EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

i've tried it everyway that i can think of...
when i import rex files into exs24 (mac logic gold 5.3 and 
recently 5.5) all i get is on key/note with the whole loop in it...no  
map of little slices across the keyboard as it appears that i 
should be getting...what gives?
i've had to resort to importing via the arrange window and using 
the add track feature to get my loops syncing with the tempo of 
my song...

any suggestions would be appreciated...
