In the Help-menu of Logic you have an option called EXS24 Help, which
opens a help file for the plug-in. This gives an overview of all
settings and controls, and should give you a good background to help you
decide if it's any good or not.

If you upgrade your platinum5 to 5.5 (from emagics website), a pdf-file
detailing the new features of EXS24mkII is included.
