I'm struggling with the same type of problem here too. I'm only running with 256 meg of ram on my Tibook 667, so I'm sure concerned to hear that allocating massive amounts of ram doesn't solve the problem, because buying more ram was my last idea to solve the problem. I've tried everything else I can think of, worked for hours with extension sets, sync settings, buffer settings. It's all quite a bit more painful because I just received the Bigga Gigga Rhodes for Gigasampler, loaded it into the exs... Sounds f@#$ing amazingly good. Converted it very well. Virtual streaming works perfectly! It's quite delicious. I'm very impressed and excited. Now, about this little matter of stability...
