EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi,

I need to decide tonight whether I should put my new 24 bit EXS24 
sample library "Scarbee R.S.P.'73" (Rhodes) uncompressed (2.25 GB) on 
4 CD's or use winrar to make 2 split volumes using only " CD's. Seeen 
from a manufacturer view there is quite a difference: more CD's, more 
expensive shipping, etc.

But what about compatibility? I use Windows XP and have Winrar 3.0.
If I make two .rar files (Split volume on 2 CD's) will you be able to 
extract the files if you have MacOS 9 or earlier?

On the www.rarlab.com it seems that winrar 3.0 only comes to MacOs X.

Is there a free stuffit version for MacOs 9 that can extract rhe 
files?

I will really appreciate fat help, since I have to do the manufaction 
now.
