I'm sorry you all are struggling with this. I do want to point out that I have had no problems similar to this at any time. I mention this only to alert you that something is amiss, and you should be getting much more out of the software. Do not settle for less than what most of us take for granted. Your EXS should not be dropping any notes. Mine never has and I often have 4 to 8 instruments in use at once--and all on a G3-400 Mac, which of course isn't nearly as powerful as the Dual-chip G4s. ...So stay in pursuit of a solution. When the EXS is functioning normally, it's very dependable. Start nagging the Emagic support lines until they give you some real answers. Ask for the head tech who works in your platform of choice (Mac or PC).
