The attack time should be set to a very low (quick) setting. Although due to the low end nature of the program content in this sort of patch, it isn't really a critical element to the overall effect we are trying to achieve. The release parameter is the more critical of the two in this sort of a setup. It obviously depends on the program content, but I would definitely at least start out with a fairly quick release time. So that the bass can "get back up" fairly quickly.
