Thx for the bounce suggestion. Here's my dilemma. When AudioInst 1 is set to be Cha = "Instrument 1", then "bounce" doesn't appear on the master fader. If, instead, Cha = "Output 1-2", bounce does appear, but when I click "bnce" I get a message that there is nothing to bounce. This is in contrast to the behavior in MIDI where I set up the track mixer, hit "record" for Audio 1 and get an audio recording either as SDII or AIFF. What's my missing step? Cheers, Larry
