Re: [exs] Recording to audio with EXS

2002-12-30 by Hendrik Jan Veenstra

Thoughts from the mind of steinway03 <ltarof@...>, 30-12-2002:

>Thx for the bounce suggestion. Here's my dilemma. When AudioInst 1 is

>master fader.

It does. It's just not the fader called "master" but the one called
"Output 1-2".

>If, instead, Cha = "Output 1-2",

...then you've changed the kind of object it is, and hence have lost
the inserted VSTi, and so:

>when I click "bnce" I get a message that there is nothing to bounce.

...which is correct.

You should look at the object whose Cha is set to "Output 1-2".
*That* has the BNCE button on it. Make sure that on Instrument-1 the
output poup is set to "Output 1-2". And in the Bounce dialog, enter
proper start and end times.

This is totally unrelated to turning MIDI tracks for external synths
into audio btw (which you're talking about in your last paragraph).
