I ran into a similar situation last night where I wanted to check 
one shot sample playback on for every zone of an existing Akai 
translated program. I don't think that there is any way around this. 
In fact, Logic often freeze on me when I fold/unfold multiple zone 
windows. All On/All Off parameter control - add it to the wishlist.
