I recently got an ATI Radeon 8500 dual-head card, which I used to
replace the stock card in my G4 733. Then got the cheapest 17" flat
screen I could find to add to main main monitor. The ATI was $139,
and worth every cent. Installation and setup was trivial, you may
have to get adaptors to plug your monitors into the card, but other
than that it's very simple.

Dual monitors are a necessity for programs like Logic, in fact, I
could see getting a PCI video card to run a 3rd monitor, 1 for
arrange window, 1 for mixer, 1 for plugins!
