EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hello all,

for those interested;
Earlier I mentioned I was installing the Hammerfall 9652 DSP.

I work on a Mac Quicksilver G4 733/1536
Logic Audio Platinum 5.5
3 X RME  ADI-8 Pro over adat lightpipe
(24/24 channels of analgue I/O)

Today I finisihed a track with no less than 18 exs24 instances 
(one of them being the 256mb Splendid GrandPiano), 6 
audiotracks, topped with LOST of both 3rd party's and Logic's 
native plugins. 

...I suppose the DSP in the new 9652's title works like a horse, it 
gets an enormous load off of the Mac's processor. With all the 
above, neither of Logic's System Performance meters almost 
BLINKED! I think maybe the Disk I/O did like a mere 5% TOPS.

So anyone of you looking for serious performance, at this price I 
think the Hammerfall is unbeatable! (Well, for now, that is...)
