They are selling you the contents of the bottle. The bottle itself is not intended as the tool for actually consuming the liquid from. It is expected that you need another piece of equipment (a glass). It is not intended as an entire all complete liquid consuming soloution. The bottle is just the packaging used to deliver the real goods; the liquid contents. In the case of YT, they _are_ intending their product to be used in a complete and self contained manner. They aren't selling "just the samples", they're selling the "container" around them as part of the product as well. Your Filemaker analogy doesn't quite hold water either. FM just references or points to, the samples but doesn't actually "use" them in any way. EXS24 does.
