Sure, just edit the sample in the Logic sample editor (the E button in
instrument edit) and use the time and pitch factory. You can timestretch
whith or without pitch alteration this way.

Thats a different kind of solution as it chops up the loop rather than
timestretch. If you're just using audio loops as whole entities, try
experimenting with using them as pure audio regions instead of EXS samples -
its a lot easier, and the whole timestretch issue is simpler using the
'adjust tempo using object length and locators' function in arrange.
