Interesting bit: It's powered by "the award-winning UVI-Engine" 
(never heard of it myself), and "MachFive includes UVI-Xtract, an 
import utility... UVI-Extract even allows users to insert sample 
content CD-ROMs from Roland, Emu, Akai and other formats into their 
computer -- discs that otherwise cannot be mounted on their computer 
desktop -- and then convert programs (or even the entire disc) in

Does Bernard Chavonnet deserve congratulations for scoring some contract work?

I'll always use EXS24, but I need an OS X replacement for NI Battery; 
something which can load up lots of little samples quickly, and let 
me tweak each separately. I'm hoping MachFive or the new Akai soft 
sampler could fit that bill.
