They've implemented major changes to both these products (is as much as they can be considered seperate productes) at a phenomanal pace. If Kontakt or Mach5 are ahead of the game now, I personally would bet that EXS will catch-up-if-not-surpass them within a year. Of course, none of these tools are directly equatable. Each has its own way of going about things, so there's still a certain amount of truth to the old "right tool for the right job" addage. I just wouldn't go switching away from EXS because of a feature it doesn't have. I think we're going to see it evolve pretty quickly. Cheers, -josh emmons
