I have this piano sample set and it sounds quite pleasing on music like the Chopin Nocturnes which are played with the sustain pedal down most of the time. There is a complete set of midi files of all the Chopin Nocturnes, Preludes, Waltzes etc at http://www.geocities.com/Vienna/4279/MIDI.html This piano is not the bright close-miced sound that you often hear in romplers and other sample sets but more like the classical recording sound where the piano is heard in the context of the room. The limitation for me is that all the samples were with the pedal down (unlike most others which have multi-velocity sets with and without the sustain pedal). The result is a very resonant sound which can get a bit overwhelming for me on some kinds of piano parts -- especially dissonant voicings and parts where a lot of notes are ringing on. The same parts would be fine on a real grand piano or other sampled pianos in my experience. I think it is worth having -- especially if you already have some of the more in-your-face pianos and want something that sits back a little more. I would be interested to see some other opinions.
