I have the Bosendorfer and it plays back all velocities very well. If you open edit doesn´t the velocity change show when you press the key with different velocities, it should be pretty obvious. If it doesn´t then I would try to convert the thing again. BTW I think there´s only 4 layers x 2 isn´t it layered in pairs being triggered differently sustainpedal wise, I may be completely wrong here but I seem to remember having noticed this.

Subject: Re: [exs] Velocity layers in giga library
I am new to EXS-24 through the demo that you get from buying logic 5.5
I don't have good documentation on how to properly use the sampler
but I have a question
I loaded up the bosendorfer grand giga and got it to work but it seems that
it's not playing all the different velocity layers that are setup in the
patch. It sounds like it's just playing one layer at every velocity.
is there a way to set exs-24 to play the different velocity layers?
this piano is 8 layers deep and all the layers are loaded 768 zones. I see a
sekect range box that is unchecked and when I check it I see two more boxes
appear that have the velocity data settings. When this is checked are those
settings then activated? I didn't hear a difference.
thanks for any help
