You're right... I've been following this thread from the start and was still uncertain if to post something or not... Then I made up my mind... by using PhatMatik Pro... This thing is not finished: the autoslice never works and cuts attacks very badly and fixing them is a very lenghty work... better going back to my Recycle 2 and EXS24 solution... a bit more time consuming but much more effective... The PP idea is gorgeous but they sold us a product with the promise of a quick update to 1.1 no less than 4 or 5 months ago... and this in my job means ages, can't even remember what I was doing then but I used PP a couple of times and from then on the Recylce/EXS solution worked best for me always even if my first try is for PP.. I am lazy guy... I paid too much for a software not finished... we should stop complaining the big companies when even the small developers are this "bad"... and they make more money than the BIG ones because they have less expenses and they still charge quite much for their software. I don't want to be rude to anyone (not even to Art) but music biz is a small world and I think no one can afford to be so short sighted... what about some more infos on the bitshift site? an email? feel like I wasted completely my money for the first time in my life in a software product. Talking about NI my experience with support has always been good and I own all of their packages (including sound libraries) apart the Tonewheels... but these are all personal views and somebody might (I think WILL) have a different thought about this whole thing... after all we are all Emagic users and I never liked their attitude towards users (support wise and with the PC abandoning policy and the response code thing going on forever even with the help of the italian distributor)... I am a Logic user coming from PC (version 2 point something) and switched to Mac with version 4 in 2000 (actually bought another key and license)... now my PC is a happy expander (with Kontakt, Tassman, Gigastudio, Soundforge, Live, Acid 4 and...) with much more horse power than my DP 1 GHz Mac with the UAD1...
