NO!

I own CDXtract, and there are currently too many missing parameters 
and bugs in the S56k -> EXS24 conversion (3.4 and latest 3.5 beta) to 
make it useful. Before I list them I should say that Bernard is hard 
at work fixing them, so perhaps by the time you read this the 
following won't be a problem any more.

I did the following:
1. Converted from AkaiCD to EXS using the EXS24 built-in converter.
2. Converted from AkaiCD to S56k using CDXtract, then again using 
CDXtract to go from S56k to EXS24.

Current bugs: Panning is incorrect (-50<=50, should be -100<=100), 
sample paths are incorrecty specified. Filter and amplitude envelopes 
differ a lot from the EXS24 conversion.
Missing features: Lots. LFO parameters are either incorrect or 
missing, modulation sources are incorrect.. etc...

This is no critique against CDXtract. I use it just for the S1000 -> 
S56k conversion which works perfectly, so I'm really very satisfied 
with CDXtract !
