EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Hi,
            I have an s3000xl which is connected via scsi and a zip to my
pc.  I have the EXS24 but still wish to use the s3000 to take the load of
the pc occasionally.

I would like to load some multis in to the s3000 from Akai format cd's using
my pc cdrom (I do not have a scsi cdrom).   I have Millenium and
CDExtract but neither seem to be able to allow this or extract them to pc.
Is a scsi cdrom the only option?  If it is, can anyone recommend a model
that works well?

Also, is there any way of converting exs instruments back to akai programs,
for pc processor load reduction?
