Not so sure about Kontakt either, I found it to look rather clumsy (very small fonts, tree structure could become a bit bloated as soon as you're using nested folders). Anyways, I totally agree with you, the patch selection menu could be vastly improved. What about a standard (resizeable) open dialog that stays open as long as you found what you wanted? What if the patch would play "in context" as soon as you'd "touch" it with your mouse/cursor? Just as the sample preview of the EXS (you can just browse as long as you want and it'll a) play the sound "in patch" and b) will allways bring you back to the previous state in case you press cancel). And what about having such a "preview in context and open menu stays open until I'm finished" option for ALL plugin presets? That IMO would be unbeatable. Btw, I am using MIDI Prg.Chng. 01 for patch up and 00 for down. That way I can at least stay at my keyboard. Regards, Sascha
