I don't get this reasoning at all why should I start learning the oboe? because I want to use it in a piece? if I want to use a good sample I will - and try and use it creatively - thats kind of the point of the sampler - to FACILITATE creativity - so that people use this stuff as they see fit - just listen to the end result - if it does it for you cool - if it doesn't, listen to something else.
