Download the Apple 1.3.5 CD/DVD Driver, you can get it at www.chickensys.com/translator/download - put it in your extensions folder, disable the newer one and enable 1.3.5. Restart. Your EXS probably will see it then. The problem (although yours seems different) is that the newer versions of the Apple driver do not report the disk areas other than the Audio one once the Audio area is reported. This affects all Mac programs that attempt to read any Audio/proprietary Mixed-Mode CD, as it's an Apple problem in the OS. This answers the other chaps' direct question as well.
