I moved from yamaha a4000 to EXS24 few months ago and I really don¹t look back! Yamaha suffered slow SCSI transfer speed, it was pain to transfer samples from my mac to it. I liked yamahas filters, but I think EXS's are even better. I had 4 gb drive inside my A4000 and I was not able to move my entire sample library in it. Now I have 120 gb hd and virtually unlimited space. I think in studio theres no use for hardware sampler anymore. timo > Hi all, > I'm planning on selling my Roland S760 to using the EXS24.
