EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I'm an EXS24 newbie and I just bought Xtreme Analog.
I've built a few multi-sampled instruments, but the filters are still kind of a
mystery to me. When I looked at some of the Xtreme Analog patches in the
editor, it's plain to see that the filters are a huge part of the sound.

So, my question...
Is there a decent tutorial around that discusses the use of filters in a
serious sampler? (I guess it doesn't neccisarily have to be the EXS24)

I've got the EXS24 manual, but it's very thin.
(for that matter... where can you go to read about keyswitching?...)

Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
