I don't think the S-series have an analog filter either :-). I've heard a
lot of filters and I still think the EXS is one of the best virual analogs
(next to Mercury1, VirSyn, Virus, Waldorf and Fromage). Never got plastic
visions while using it! What I like most are the artefacts that come up when
cranking up the drive and resonance. It has a lot of personlality.

That's certainly what I do! Got myself an EXSP24 to do it in Cubase SX.
