If there's one thing I just love about FM7 and Kontakt it's the syncing/looping envelopes! > - rubber-band selection of samples in the editor Yes. And an option to tweak the most important parameters straight on the zones (key and velocity range that is). Wouldn't even be required to represent the velo zones graphically - personally I don't find the way HALion or Kontakt display their zones too pleasing, the EXS allways looked slicker to me. My most important wish however would be having a slightly different method of organizing files. I really don't like the fact that you have to re-save or "save as" each instrument once you altered it. Makes working with songbased patches a true pain. All instruments should be saved with the song and optionally one shouldn't need to create a new patch in the first place as well. Just as any other softsampler does it: Do your patch, save your song, in case you want to re-use patches, save them as an extra file. Sascha
