Add prefixes to the names, like D- (for drums). PAD for pads etc.. then
you find what you need quickly.

There are some great key commands for doing this. For example: *backup
audio files of all USED and ACTIVE instruments of current song*. Give
this command a key. Then open one EXS instance you are using in the song
and press the edit button. Now press your key command: a filebox appeares
where you can choose the destination of your backup. The name you give in
that box could be like *mysong EXS backup*. Press OK and all the samples
AND the Sampler Instrument files of all active EXS instances will be
copied there. IMO this is ideal for backing songs up to a CDR.
