I have a Mackie Analog 32:8 mixer. I could buy the Hammerfall but I would also need an Alesis AI3 ADAT -> ANALOG converter. I want the 8 analog outputs so I can assign my drum parts and ES1 synth to various outputs. I use a Transient Designer for compression off the Mackie for amazing kicks and snares. I will be buying a card with ADAT anyway just so I can have the abilit to import from my Fostex 1624 or someone elses ADAT if they need to dump it.
