Try rebuilding your database (start with option key pressed), then don't forget to delete the "old" backup files in your "mail identity" folder. Also, it would be a good idea to import your address books and important mail wit something like Eudora, as your database may get corrupted any time and you may want to reimport it back to Lookout once you've backed it up. I had some nasty crashes last year, so I had to trash my database completely, and that was the only way to solve the problem.
