I think so, 256 meg ram is really not enough for Logic/EXS24.
The EXS24 can stream the samples from your hard drive which means that
you can load instruments bigger than your available Ram. However the disk
streaming speed is limited by your hard drive access time and speed.
Usually when you begin to hear Clicks in larger files, it's because the disk
streaming cannot provide the samples fast enough. So go buy more memory,
you will have better performance and you will less use your hard drive.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
