I'm cross-posting this to Logic TDM and the EXS24 lists, since I think it's worth knowing: On the EXS Users list, Jerry Olson posted that if you insert an I/O plug-in on a DTDM channel (even if it's bypassed), all the plugs on that channel go over to the other processor. That's a very useful tip. I can run two stereo->stereo Altiverbs in Logic if I do that - along with literally a dozen host-based samplers (EXS24s and Halions) - but only one in PT if I'm using a lot of RTAS. Part of that may be just that the HTDM version takes more horsepower. But if anyone else mixes in Pro Tools with Logic running in the background with OMS IAC, this means that if there's a choice, you want to try and use ASIO Altiverbs on HTDM auxes in Logic rather than in Pro Tools. -- Nick Batzdorf 818/905-9101, cell 590-9101, fax 905-5434
