Break-point envelopes? I'm not sure what you mean by that... And better editing/programming, huh? Is that something that the other guys have or are they all pretty equal? I've used Cool Edit Pro to muck around, but of course, it doesn't work on the Mac... > I don't know how old you are, but I remember spending 1500 dollars > on a sampler, so just go ahead and buy two soft samplers! Heehee! I just turned 44... One of the reasons I started using the Peavey SP was that it was under $1000! Too bad Peavey never really followed it up. I heard that there was supposed to be a Peavey SP Plus or something, but I've never seen one. Heck, I still even have SampleVision version 2 on diskettes! Yeah, it's only money, but yesterday was tax day, eh? ;-) On top of the sampler though, there's the issue of sample libraries, unless I can convert what I've already done... Atmosphere is starting to look pretty nice too, and it comes with a pretty extensive sample library. But if I understand correctly, you can't add your own samples... -Doug

Re: [EXS] Hi everybody. I'm new. Are there comparisons with other soft samplers?
